There are about 4000 operational dialysis machines in the country.  The country has about 1000 qualified Nephrologist who perform 3500 kidney transplants in a year.


The cost of Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) is one of the lowest in the world. RRT in India typically cost 1/15th of what it costs in USA or UK, yet it is unaffordable for a large populace of the county. The market of dialysis apparatus is valued at about 20 million USD and is growing at 20% CAGR.

Decision making process and treatment methodology mapping for diabetic macular edema.

Treatment of diabetic macular edema is ridden with patient complications and treatment restraints. HealthQ conducted a study on 12 Ophthalmologists, 10 consulting physicians, 16 diabetologists/endocrinologists and 5 Nephrologists to understand the complete treatment methodology, patient complication, incidence of treatment options and decision making processes.


Competitive Intelligence on hemodialysis equipment suppliers in India

The market of Haemodialysis equipment in India is majorly catered by few international players. This study was commission by the client (an India entry aspirant) to cull out information on current players with regards to their sales, target customers, selling and marketing strategies and outlook.


Communities of practice for Nephrologists in India

HealthQ had conducted a survey on nephrologists to understand the influence chain and communities of practice on Nephrologists in India. Currently there are over 1000 nephrologists who depend on a few senior KOLs for knowledge and expertise. HealthQ surveyed 200 nephrologists to map over 1000 nephrologists.


Patient Diaries of Stage 5 CKD (Choronic Kidney Desease) patients

HealthQ conducted 38 patient diaries of stage 5 CKD patients (majorly through Care Takers). The diaries included detailed day-to-day activities of the patient for two weeks.


Demand Assessment of Erythropoetin Injectables.

Erythropoietin is majorly used to treat low blood levels in CKD and patients undergoing chemotherapy. HealthQ conducted IDIs of 22 oncologists, 12 consulting physicians, 28 Nephrologists to understand the demand, preferences, average dosage, disease profile and incidences.
